time to relax

I posted this to the general nurses section too but I thought it might be cool to see nursing students thoughts. Im a student myself :) Anywho, here it is:

Nursing School and Nursing as a career can be really stressful and tough and emotional and we all have our bad days. I think most will agree with me when I say its worth it because Nursing is just great in loads of other ways :) However, we all need time to relax and chill out. What do you like to do to relax after a stressful day?

Personally I love to jam on my guitar and sing on the top of my voice lol I then have a cuppa tea maybe watch some tv before hitting the hay :) oh I find playing with my diabolo stress relieving

What do you like to do??

Running on a treadmill does wonders for my anxiety and stress. I also like to hug my adorable cats, lol. Pets are a great way to smile after a rough day.

I'd go swimming, shopping and vegge out infront of the TV.

The gym. Running on the treadmill, listening to my music...that's my peace and stress relief. Cucumber water! God, this stuff is so refreshing after a long day. I'll usually light some candles and take a hot bath from time to time, add in a facial from time to time...it's amazing the difference it can make, just to take out 20 minutes to lay back and relax!

yeah i must admit, a nice long hot shower is very relaxing!! :)

Aside from family stuff, my me thing would probably be yoga. I love it like so much. I feel great after physically and mentally. It just takes so much stress way and any aches and pain too. I like gardening too but I have a harder time finding time for that :)

lying on my bed and taking a 20 minute nap! I get to cuddle is my covers and feel surrounded by fluff while getting a recharge on my battery for study time

I love to study (lmao) but after studying I love to go out back and float around my pool on the chair and get a suntan. My kids enjoy it too....they love to swim. What better way to relax from nursing school then getting some Vitamin D from the sun and listening to your kids enjoying this beautiful weather.
