Hi colleagues

I am working as RN in the Kuwaiti Hospital Emirate / Coronary Care Unit

My Hospital Location : United Arab Emirates / Emirates of Sharjah

Here i would like to share with you in the near future my knowledge and experience in nursing

Hope i can benefits from joining the all nurses and sharing new ideas with all of you

My Nursing manager agreed to administer thyroid medication in the morning and on empty stomach but i found the medicine can be administered in the morning and or night , the purpose is to minimize binding to food avoid erratic absorption and improve the thyroid function .

Thank you in advance for your valued opinion .

Does anyone take Armour Thyroid in the evening with good results?

(I take Nature-Throid ~ like Armour Thyroid)

I didn't know people still took porcine (armour Thyroid) which by the way got it's name from Amour Pork Products ie Amour Hot Dogs.

Hppy

One of our internal medicine docs told us that, for people who forget to take their mess regularly, you can take a week's worth of your meds at once, once a week.

i take armour/natural thyroid bid with excellent results
