Stars that is an odd dreams, though you're right it's probably related to your current situation

Ado glad the magnesium is helping

Hi Dianah and Rose Queen

Tweety glad you got some extra help

Yesterday was pretty good at work, due to some sort of glitch there was nothing to do for the side project. So I had more time than expected and was able to get some CEUs done. Bunch of documents to review but otherwise a quiet day

After work was fairly quiet, exercised and had a Zoom meeting for one of my groups

Should be a pretty ordinary day at work today. After work have a haircut and exercise and that's it

Going to be warmer today, up to the upper 80s, will likely need to turn the AC on

I got about 4 + 1/2 to 5 hrs sleep, constantly interrupted during the last hour by my cell phone with more of those calls wanting me to take advantage of the Medicare changes, saying that I had not yet signed up; well, pardon my French, but NO S***. How many times do I have to say "NO, I am NOT interested"? Apparently the # is into infinity. I stuffed the phone under my pillow and every time it went off I either opened, and then immediately closed it, or once I heard what it was about, I said NO! and hung up. Boy those callers are a persistent bunch! They really want to argue, and will not stop talking even if you say: "No, no,no,no, NO!" Well, Ppfftt to them.

I am a still tired, but that is the residual hangover from the meds I took so late in the early morning hours. But at least I stopped thinking, and did sleep a good four solid hours. Naturally my knees hurt, but I am waiting for my regular meds to kick in while drinking "the first cup of coffee" as a former poster (ED) used to say. (can't remember the spelling of his screen name, which I always said sounded like a sneeze.) I miss some of those 'old' posters; last night I found myself answering a post from amoLucia, but it was on another topic, and it was posted a while back, so who knows if she'll ever read it? Kind of feeling nostalgic for some of the ones who have absented themselves, but we'll never know why they have, for the most part, I guess.

I will have my second cup of coffee and peruse the news headlines. It is 11 AM now, and after my knees calm down, I intend to start in randomly on the things I mentioned in my 4:30 AM post tacked on to yesterday's posts. Of course, I will start by getting dressed and walking Miss Tinker. I think it is supposed to get up to 81 today, but it hardly matters to me, as I will be inside, a'doin'mah thang!

More later, I'm sure!

Good afternoon. I was up early for a Dr. appointment. Reviewed my ultrasound, labs, and having less abdominal pain. He is giving me a prescription to start Wegovy in July for weight loss. I have tried to lose weight on my own but just keep gaining. My knees are not happy, and I worry about putting extra strain on my heart.

We got home from the cruise. Tuesday evening, with me hacking my lungs out and a throbbing headache. I'm still coughing, so doc gave me a script for codeine cough syrup and an inhaler refill, for occasional wheezes. I used to be able to shake a cold in a few days, but not anymore.

I've been pulling weeds in the garden. So many sprouted while we were gone. and the ding dang deer have been feasting on our yard, even nibbling dh's tomatoes. I talked to oldest ds, he had his post-op visit from his back repair. Everything looks okay, he can start therapy and drive next week, but still needs to wear his neck and back brace.

There were porpoises swimming along side the cruise ship on the last day. They are hard to see in the picture. Look about half way up and just to the left of the boat.

I, too, use ellipses a lot...

but apparently I should have referred to the Comets as OKC's triple-A baseball team rather than the three letters more commonly associated with the American Automobile Association. Live and learn. And then forget.

Joe, Hubs had a lot of trouble with moving pictures from camera to computer and was cussing all the software companies and anyone else he could think of. I don't know if he ever got done what he wanted to.

I'm feeling super-tired today with no good reason why.

I moved the small slider-rocking chair down to the den by pulling it backwards and it slid down a step at a time with no problem! If I had tried to lift it, the bottom workings upon which it slides and rocks would drop down, making it entirely too awkward to wrassle with! I'm going to clean the dusty wicker shelving that goes over the toilet tank, to take that with me, as my friend J said there was not anything in the bathroom but the usual toilet, sink and shower in a tub. I went to the store and got some more sturdy tape to seal boxes after I get 'em packed, Newspapers (I can do the crossword and other puzzles first!) to wrap around things that need, ummm, wrapping around them! DUH, me! And I got another box of the extra large trash bags. also.

But then I was bad by being good to myself....I went to JC PENNEY's where I THOUGHT I had $24 credit. Turns out my card wouldn't work because I hadn't used it in so long. But I am going to make a copy of the most recent "bill" that I got in yesterday's mail, which tells me I owe nothing but I have the $24 credit. So if the card is not current, THEY owe ME $24! You know if it was the other way around they'd be hounding ME for the $24! Turn about is fair play! So, anyway, while I was there, before I found out about the card business at checkout, I shopped around and got myself some birthday presents. Now this sounds like it has nothing to do with that, but my hubby's CB name used to be the last three numbers on his CB license (which I don't think is even required anymore) which were 341, and everybody called him "Three-Forty-One" or just shortened it to "Forty One". I bought a set of sheets, and then two extra pillow-cases of the same color, as the set of twin sheets only give you one pillowcase; I also got a very pretty light weight blanket, as I think I may not be needing the down comforter too often. But I am going to bring it along so it will be something familiar for Tinker to use folded up as a bed for her. I also got a teeny-tiny Keurig coffee maker, the price of which was marked down by $20 or so, but the price most definitely was NOT "teeny-tiny"! The one I have still functions, but is 3 years old and takes up more space than I think would be wise in my one room. (It'll kind of be like a dorm room, y'know?) I got some pretty linen towels, and a pair of real honest-to-goodness pajamas! And, here's the part where the story brings in my husband's CB nickname.....The total of my purchases was $341. !! I don't usually spend that kind of money, but I though I wanted to celebrate my birthday a little early, and it seemed like it was a serendipitous b'day acknowledgement from the great beyond.

In order not to feel the least little bit of guilt, when my SS check arrives in the bank, I will put about $500 back into that account that the debit card draws on. And I DON'T CARE, because I HAD FUN gathering and coordinating colors and all, for my fresh start in the next new stage of my life! Time flies when you're having fun! 🤩 I even got stars in my eyes today, 'cause it felt so good!

OMG it is already 7:30 PM! Guess I'll heat up something from the freezer for supper. At least I have plenty of food to eat and use up in the next few weeks, so I won't need to do too much grocery shopping!

May do a few picky-pooky things during the course of the evening, but I dunno if I will or not!

PS: I think the pickle slices and pickle juice did help some today! Talk wif you'n's t'maurey!

G'day.

I too sometimes can't shut off my mind in the wee hours. My meds get me to sleep but if I wake up like I did the last two nights it can be rough.

No help today and I had a 4 patient assignment and it was a busy one. Off tomorrow. A nurse already called off for tomorrow but I can't do extra as I'm working the weekend. I promised myself the last time I did five in a row to never do that again. LOL
