I never realized how long 48 hours is. I am so paranoid the PVT isn't right. I just want to know I passed. COME ON.
*Yes I know it used to be a wait of 8 weeks etc etc etc. But times have changed and it's computerized now. They HAVE the results when you walk out of that door. So please no "we had to walk to school up the snowy hill barefoot and carry our sled' comments. :)

cschoppe, I feel the same way. I got the good pop up with PVT but I feel like it's just not possible. It needs to be tomorrow afternoon. Right now.

@nursedreamjob - I too am in California and have had a few friends pass the NCLEX and the BON had their name posted with license in about 2-3 days. The actual license was mailed and received in under a week.

I know exactly how you feel. I took my test on the 13th at 2:00. My test stopped at 75 and I got the good pop up. Every time one of my friends told me this I would congratulate them and say they definitely passed buuut now that it's me I'm skeptical. Im not going to believe it until I see my results or get my license number posted on the board's site!
Good luck to everyone else that's current enduring this HORRIBLE wait!

Exact same scenario for me.
frankie, I've heard that as well but my classmates that have passed have had to wait for their license verification letter to send that in to the state and then once they send that in, their name appears on the BON website. I think IL is a bit different, unfortunately. I'm just grateful they have the quick results. I just wish they were quicker!
hey darengibo.....well i havent paid for my license yet so it wouldnt be on the BVNPT i took NCLEX PN...im just waiting for the results and its killing me..did you take ur nclex yet?

If I'm remembering it correctly you won't be listed on ILDPFR until after you have paid your licensing fee. I paid the money for the 48hr results and the wait was awful. Kudos to those who walked the path before us and had to wait so long for results.
Good luck PinkNBlue on both your results and your nursing career!
