Pre Calc is a pre req for nursing?

Yes and no ha. The State program interested in has 11 pre requisites required and 6 needed to be completed prior to admission. So you needed a higher math class then Stats or Intermediate Algebra they suggested Natural Science Math class or Pre Calc or Calculus. The CC has their own weird prerequisites to classes that don't mirror other CCs in the State. Decided why not this will work so I needed Pre Calc for Chem 1. Doing Chem 1 I reach the number of pre reqs. However, online pre calc at an intense pace for a non math genius was a PITA. I grasped some, but bombed 3 or 4 quizzes no point damaging my grades for nursing school. I am debating to take it in the fall, but I only will be able to apply to the CC programs now.

If the CC doesn't work out I'll have to wait another year now. Still plan to get my BSN or MSN eventually.

your taking alot of classes that is going to require a lot of studying and possibly tutoring if you want an A. Also remember that the anatomy and chemistry classes also come with labs that have their own exams also. So thats 5 classes. Becareful not to over do it and not make the grades you want. You might need to decrease that work load down to 20 hrs

I took on a similar class load and had to cut back my hours significantly. If I didn't have kids, it would've been no problem maintaining those hours and still getting As.

Bummed wasted my money should of done Lifespan.

Now hace to change direction.

Did Psych last spring.

Fall AP1 and Intro Chem. Plus the TEAS in the fall.

Lifespan in the winter and applying for programs in the winter.

AP2 and Micro in the Spring.

Maybe a Spanish class in the Summer.

Then if not in a program for 2017 yet Chem 1 and Pre Calc for the Fall.

Physics and Stats for Spring.

Then Spanish again in the Summer.

Then hopefully for Fall of 18 I'll officially be in a program.

Normally I would say go for it because this doesn't look like a bad schedule at all. I mean I'm taking 3 gen eds, A&P 1, nutrition, and Med Term for the fall (I still have to work P/T and volunteer at my local hospital weekly).. So obviously your schedule does not deter me. BUT you will be having to work 32 hours a week and you will need at least 30 hours a week for those classes in particular. If cutting your work hours is not an option, and you don't want to drop a class, then I say to just please stay on top of managing your time throughly. This could either make or break it.

Do not wait to the last minute to study or do your HW!

Monday is looking like 6 to 15 and 6 to 12 Wednesday

Debating to do 6 to 9 Monday and Wednesday and Friday 10 to 2.

Just depends on how smart you are. You cannot wing these classes. You have to know it so there will be a lot of time studying. It is doable if you are organized and studying has to be your priority. Only you will know the answer :)
