Hi everyone! I first took the Hesi A2 on April 28 and received a 90% overall (Woohoo!) However, my school allows two attempts for the test so I am retaking it in hopes of a higher score on the anatomy portion!
Math: 92
I was really worried about the math section for this test because I've always struggled. The math problems inside of the Evolve Hesi Study Guide helped out tremendously and the problems were very similar. Also, on my exam there was a little + button that said "Show Calculator", that you can use for the problems! Taking your time and going slow will help not to mess up on little things. The math portion consisted mostly of ratios, fractions, conversions, and percentages. There were decimals and few word problems as well.
Reading Comprehension: 94
This section was pretty straightforward. There are about 10 or so reading passages with 5-6 questions afterward asking about the main idea or a summary of the passage. I would also practice these things in the study guide.
Grammar: 98
I scored the best on the grammar section and all credit is given once again to the study guide!! The grammar portion of this book is incredible and looking over it really helped me. Little things that you may not think of are definitely important to go over even if they may seem like "common sense" ideas.
Anatomy & Physiology: 76
This was the section I was the most worried about because I hadn't taken A&P for two years. I did not go over things as well as I should have and my score suffered. I plan on retaking the Hesi on June 4th and have been going over the different organ systems, bones, and muscles to prepare me for a higher score.
These four sections were all I needed to take for my school. Overall, it's not as bad as you think as long as you study accordingly and go slow! I rushed through my test because I just wanted it over with lol bad idea. I did the hardest sections first while I was still alert and could empty what was in my mind. I'll answer any questions I can :)

this thread is probably going to be locked/removed by Admin because it violates the "rules" on discussing exactly what is on the HESI test. With that being said CONGRATS on passing the HESI. My school allows 2 attempts but because of the point system you get more points for only taking it once.

Is the HESI test done on a computer or on a scantron "paper and pencil" format? I'm planning on taking it this summer. My school only counts the English and Math portions but you can only take the test once per admission period. The math you listed sounds really easy as well. Thanks for posting. I'm not nearly as nervous about taking this test as I was prior to reading your post. :)

You did really well. As for the Math-Conversions, would you say that the study guide was conversion chart was helpful when you came across that questions?
Oh really? I tried not to be too specific but perhaps I was by mistake :/. Thank you! I asked my adviser and he said that taking it a second time would be not marked against us. Thank you for letting me know though or I wouldn't have thought to ask!
The Hesi test I did was all done on a computer with scratch paper given to you to write on! I'm glad this post helped you :)

Congrats! I made a 90% overall as well.
Ive commented on threads before and then found them locked later so I wasnt sure if that was just for new posters. Thanks for clarifying
Yes the study guide conversion was definitely helpful!! Memorizing those backwards and forwards really helped on the math section.

im practicing writing those conversion down every day, thinking about doing a brain dump before i start the math section, but i don't wanna waste time.
I did a quick brain dump and there was PLENTY of time. Some questions are so obviousyou wont even touch pencil to paper.
