I kind of got this idea from the OB/GYN site about names. It seems that at the LTC facility where I work we have suddenly gotten more than our share of Dorothy's!! I have 6 on my hall of 42!! Plus there are 4 more in the building. (and 1 staff with that name). About 10 years ago, we had a whole bunch of Edith and Mables!! What are some of the common names you are seeing?
Thought this might be fun!:wink2:

Marys and Anns here. But then we have a large catholic population, so those names are always popular.

Hmmmm......Evelyn, Eleanor, Helen......and Marion seems to be really common right now.....we have several Dorothys too, but two go by Dottie. Richard and Kenneth are our most common male names.........the most original, never seen before name we have right now is Captolia.
Hmmmm......I just had a thought about why you may be seeing so many Dorothys......."The Wizard of Oz" (1939).
The most common mens names where I am at are any form of "Ed" such as Edgar, Edward, Edwin, etc...
