I am in NY State. Is a termination automatically reported to the Board of Nursing? Thanks.

As in from your job? It would depend why. If it was because you were late or called in too many times or other “benign” issues, then I would seriously doubt it. If it was related to drug/alcohol use/on the job under the influence, etc. then yeah, possibly, eventually, depending on how your state works.
You’ve not really given enough information for us to give educated thoughts on the question.

It all depends on the 'why.' Calling in, etc... No.
Abandoning patients, falsifying med records ( saying you did something when you didn't ), stealing drugs ( diversion ), abuse/neglect of patients, beating up another nurse. Those are things I think can/will be reported to BON.
It's a no-show, no-call. Thanks for your response.
When you renew a license is there a question to the effect of , "have you been terminated / faced disciplinary action....?"

So...you also want to call HR and find out if you are considered rehirable. If you aren't then you will need to develop a story (truth is best) about the no calls/no show. If the work environment was unsafe that may not reflect badly.
