Hi everyone, I am new to this site but have read really great information. I am taking my first test this Friday! I am really stressing out. My reading and English are ok and depending on the questions I get for the science part I either do well or totally bomb! If anyone has any tips or words of wisdom please share! Ps time is usually my issue I work full time and am taking A&P and psy lifespan.
Thank you for the help!

I recommend going into the TEAS section on the forum. It's really helpful.
I recommend this thread:
https://allnurses.com/teas-exam-help/how-i-passed-804222.html
It gives a good breakdown of the types of things you should know.
Otherwise I recommend no studying the night before or day of and just relax. Don't cram and perhaps use youtube and khan academy for concepts you don't really have nailed down yet. I found them to be useful tools to help me understand processes and concepts.
If you have a hard time taking a test against the clock, practice using an egg timer or any kind of timer to kind of help you adjust. During the test, you'll need to be aware of the time so you don't run out of time, but at the same time try to not watch it like a hawk.
If you have testing anxiety at all, work on breathing exercises. Find what works for you to help calm your nerves. I became aware of how I reacted when I receive tests. I'd panic and wouldn't be able to focus on pretty much anything else. I learned to identify what I was feeling and acknowledge that I would and what specifically I would feel, and then remind myself to breathe and keep going.

I did pretty well when I took the TEAS. I recommend the ATI study guide and the practice assessments you can get from the ATI Testing website too. They're not cheap but they are the closest thing to the real test and they will tell you what you specifically need to work on when you're finished. I also used a book called "Secrets of the TEAS" and found that to be helpful.

Did you have any earth science questions on the TEAS? I have read some mixed responses on here. The majority have said that there were a couple, but those posts were a few years ago. There aren't any earth science questions in the ATI Study Manual and tests.
