TEAS Exam

i havent even started school yet and im scared lol. ive been ready good and bad things about it so idk. but im going to get books for it like 3 months before its time. i need this too. but good luck.

I finished the exam and got the results. I got an 85.3 with the Program Mean being 65.1 and the National Percentile Rank at 98. I do not know exactly what that means but I think it is ok.

i think you passed anyone in the 80's usually does idk just here say! did you use any kind of special material.

I used the Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exams guide - it was very detailed and helpful as how to answer the questions!

I took the TEAS last night and made an 85.3 also!

I feel like I did okay. I am going to study more and retake it. I think I could do a little better and it would up my chances of getting in to NS. I was so bummed out that I made an 89 on the English part of it. so close to an A! I have the ATI TEAS study book and it helped me a lot. I guess I just ran out of time to prepare for it.

I took it last night too! I got a 90.6% overall! I was so nervous for weeks, then I was calm all day yesterday before taking it. What a relief to have that over with!! Now I just have to get through the interview...

I took the TEAS test last night. I did not study for this test at all. I had three chances so I thought I would use my first chance to know what I was going to have to study for. So I took the test thinking I would not do well but I was ok with that. I ended up with an 80% individual score. I thought Science was just ridiculous! I did not know anything! There were questions about compounds, blood flow, nervous system, forces, energy, rock types, cell structure, cell functions, diagrams, etc! It was impossible for me! I'm glad I scored 97.5% on reading and 82.2% on math! I guess that saved me! LOL Math was soooo easy! I mean EASY! I guess I'll be taking this test again soon to bump up my scores in Science. I will study this time!

you still did great! they are looking for students who can make in the 80-100 percentale. so what happens next after you do the test. i havent heard anyone say anything like that.

I just finished the test, I scored 93.5% Individual, 99th Percentile.

Get the ATI Study Manual Version V. I worked this guide for about 2 weeks and the test was very similar.

Know your mean, mode, and median.

Know difference between synonym and antonym.

Know your rock types.

Conversions: F-C, mg to g, ml to L, etc. Ounces to Lbs.

Make sure you're good with spelling commonly misspelled words, like the list in the TEAS Version V Study Guide.

I highly suggest the Kaplan nursing book. It's way better than any. I also recommend you purchase the ATI study guide also to help you fill in the gaps. the Kaplan was designed for the historic NET exam.
