Well if you buy the Kaplan from half.com, it's only $10. I personally think the math, science, and reading section from Kaplan is actually more useful than the ATI study guide. The only difference between the two is that the Kaplan booklet houses Analogies (Thank GOD the Tea's exempt it) and it's missing the grammar section. I also purchased the ATI practice exam (100 questions). Total waste of money. It did nothing for me because it was basically a half exam. Just my two cents.

I highly suggest the Kaplan nursing book. It's way better than any. I also recommend you purchase the ATI study guide also to help you fill in the gaps. the Kaplan was designed for the historic NET exam.

Hi everyone So I just decided to apply to Nursing school. I have a BS in biology already and am applying for the ABSN and FNP program at Samuel Merritt. They require you to take the Teas exam, which I am studying for currently. However, apps are due in January and I was planning on taking it in August. I know you are allowed to take it twice in one application cycle, but how long you do you have to wait to retake it??? I kinda want to take it now and see where I need to improve. My science is somewhat strong, and I am getting better at the math. I've been studying the Kaplan nursing school exam books, but I think it is designed after the NET. Samuel Merritt requires a 89% on the reading and a 79% on the math. So I'm really trying to shoot for the high 80's. Please help!

Honestly to tell you the truth, all the study guides are not very helpful. I ordered: Secrets of The TEAS Study Guide, and I sent it back, the ATI one is no good either. I would honestly suggest the Kaplan one. I finished the review book and trying out all other ones. Their science review section is pretty good. All you can really do is look for sample questions and just do practice problems. I'm also looking for just a bunch of sample problems if anyone has any recommendations!
