I'm taking the NCLEX this coming tuesday (the 29th) and in my nervousness i'm posting my Kaplan scores on here in the hope that people more knowledgable then me can tell me whether i'm ready to test or not. I'm horribly nervous! Ahhhh

Diagnostic: 71

Readiness: 66

Q1:64

Q2:56

Q3:58

Q4:68

Q5:69

Q6:70

Q7:68

Qbank:64% with 100 left to go

I find my self consistently struggling with check all that apply. I know the NCLEX has had a lot of these lately and its totally freaking me out. I probably get below 50% on these types of questions.

Any words of wisdom are much appreciated :)

i think you are ready to take the exam.....Good luck...

Keep it up. Dont study the day before the exam. Good luck!

Don't forget to eliminate obvious wrong answers. This right there could be the difference between passing and failing. Take your time and narrow it down to just two. Good luck!

I'm taking the exam on the 29th too, and ive been doing a lot of "research" to find out whether or not I was ready according to my scores on practice exams, I never took Kaplan but got a lot of advice from friends who did, and my best friend took Kaplan, usually got scores around 60% (her lowest was 50% and highest was 70%) and she passed the NCLEX easily with 75 questions... most people who take Kaplan and then passed the NCLEX with only 75 questions usually have gotten around 65% on scores for the later tests, and just prior to taking the NCLEX, so it seems as if you should do great! good luck

if it helps, i got my first "alternate response" type question right today hahah, i do horribly on them, but i really wouldnt worry too much about that, most people dont do well on them.

i hope that helps! good luck!

learz..... you just made me feel way better. Where are you taking NCLEX? I'm in WA state, it'd be funny if we were at the same testing center :)

unfortunately, im all the way in new jersey! so i highly doubt i'll see you, but im glad that helped. you definitely shouldn't be worried about passing. good luck!

Katherined and Learz, I really wish you both best of luck. I just passed NCLEX on my 3rd try. Last time I took it before this time was in June 2005. I started studing for the exam in late September. I took Kaplan. My Daignostic score was 53%, my qbank average was 53% in all the questions, my qt scores were about the average of 58%, and finally my readiness test scores were 63%. But I did all my qt questions and most of qbank questions after I took my readiness test. I was very anxious, nervous, and scared before I took the exam, but on the day of exam I found myself very relaxed and confident. I took my first break at 75 questions. I got up, went to the bathroom, had some water, and streched out. After that I got ready for a long day, but without any fear. I started after the break like I was starting the exam now and told myself forget what happened before the break, I have to do this like I am just starting now. I only got 2 more questions after that and I knew I got them both right. I felt very good and I passed it. So I think you can do it, you are fine. Go get the monkey off of the back. Good luck.

good luck to both of you..Stay calm and focus..You can make it.

thanks to everyone for the support! I took it yesterday and it shut off at 75 questions, and according to the pearson vue trick i passsed! I'm pretty confident that I passed so I'm ecstatic! thanks againn

CONGRATULATIONS:yeah::yeah::yeah:HAPPY NEW YEAR !
