I am still taking my science pre-reqs and all A&P classes were full by Jan 15.Other community colleges dont even have their summer course schedule done yet,and my college is full.I am literally going to have to wait on my computer and refresh my colleges website over and over to enroll in these once the system is "unlocked" to let you enroll in the future.

I got into one of my classes this spring by getting on the site after the payment deadline came and went. They close down the site to drop nonpaying students, so if your timing is right, you can pick up a spot the minute the site opens back up. I hope you are able to get in! My school doesn't even have registration open for the summer yet. Would taking it at another community college be a Plan B? I know for me that would be a 40 minute drive one way.
I am probably going to either wait another semester to take it or drive to the other college.
I think its a bit crazy to have summer A&P classes full this early. But I think its because so many other allied health programs aside from nursing need them.I wish they'd add more then.

The problem with adding more classes could be finding a professor to teach them. You would think they would leave a certain number open for the free for all that comes with open registration. I would take the drive if you can for sure get in to the other college. My drive to my school is 30 miles one way/almost an hour. (much more if traffic on 3-mile bridge is blocked for an accident!) That's our closest school. The other one is an hour in the other direction.
Have you thought about taking it online?
I dont know how I would be able to complete the required lab component if I took it online.

Now, this is just hear say, but at my university, online classes require much more book work. Our Anatomy class online is 16 weeks. They have 26 quizes 10 homework assignments and 4 tests. That's not including the lab work.
In the class I'm in (on campus) we have quizes every week and three tests. Much less work because of all the lecture time. I myself need to hear the lecture with this type of class instead of trying to teach and prepare myself. I'm trying to take physiology during the summer but our courses are not open yet.
Good luck getting into one.

To complete my prerequisites I went to 3 different schools......The furthest commute was 55 miles one way....
If you want it bad enough you will make the sacrifice and drive to the training slot....

That why I wrote that I might just drive..........however-gas expenses come into play here, wear and tear on the car, inclement weather, extra child care arrangements etc etc :)
