Study Guide Recommendations?

I just finished up my last semester of pre-reqs and I will not start the LPN program until January. Does anyone have any recommendations on some study guide books or any suggestions?

Thanks!

Here is an excellent step by step online program for pharmacology.

It's very easy to use...but it does require you either have or can download

Macromedia Authorware Player. A download is available on the site. I will go thru my sites and post more if this is something you are interested in.

Get some NCLEX books. They have good content in easy to understand format. I used them all through RN school , and you would not believe how well they helped me, and several other classmates.

Some good ones:

Lippincott's

Mosby's

Prentice Hall

Definitely get an NCLEX book to study! My teacher is actually thinking of making it a requirement that next years class gets one at the beginning of the year.

Everything you will learn in school comes from these books. You will get a head start on what you will learn in school and become familiar of the type of critical thinking questions the instructors will give you on your tests. You can also use this book as a study guide to go along with all of your classes. I bought the NCLEX-PN review guide by Saunders. It goes into detail all of the different disease processes, drugs, etc. It even comes with a CD rom to take practice tests and quizzes.

Best of luck to you next year :)
