Public transportation is a nightmare down here in south Florida. South Florida has a poorly designed transit, I only use it to go to downtown Miami (impossible parking). I recommend you rent a car, and use mapquest like the other poster suggested. But if you really want to do this go here: http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/

Public transport is pretty lacking in most of Florida.

Though there is some available in SE Florida (Miami), I don't recommend it.

Where abouts are in Hallandale (major roads only, I don't need exact address) and where would you need to go in Ft. Laud or N Miami? The #1 bus (Broward County Transit) goes south to aventura mall, or it goes as far north as Broward Blvd via US1. I know the #28 runs east and west on Hallandale Bch Blvd. Honestly, as screwed up and confusing as the transit may seem, its not that difficult. I mastered taking buses at 13, in Miami mind you, before there was ever internet to look up bus routes, back in the days you had to ask the bus driver if he went to such and such and what's the next bus to take. Thank goodness I came back to Broward. Its definitely easier up here.

If you give me a better idea of where you're at and need to go, I can help you better.

I need to get from Hallandale Beach(Wal-mart area) to N Miami 151 street.I check on line that bus #3 goes there, but I'am not sure.If yes ,how long takes to get there?I'am living in another state and have no idea about comunication down.I visit Florida once or twice in year, usually for vacation, but this time I would like to stay longer and go to school.Another place to get is S.University drive in Fort Lauderdale.Depend on transportation I will choose the nearest place to study.

Yes, it does indeed look like you can grab the #3 (Miami Dade Transit) right at Walmart and it heads down there (very lucky you only need to take one bus!!). It runs down Biscayne Blvd, so you can hop off right around 151 street, and you may have to walk a few blocks east (I can't tell from the map how near it is).

It looks like, according to the bus route schedule, that it takes almost an hour by bus to get there. If you had a car you could drive yourself, it would probably just take 15-20 mins, unless traffic was bad-depending on time of day.

Here is the link to the #3's route schedule. Just scroll down to the section marked "Schedule" and put click on Weekday or Weekend in the drop down menu, and Southbound is heading to the test center, Northbound will be heading back home from the center.
