Hello!
Im new to all this so was looking for some advice.
I started my A&E placement and am a bit lost.
I dont really know what to do or where to start! bit like a rabbit in headlights.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks or research topics to look at? Like main things to know or do.
Much appreciated!

Don't know what A&E placement means. Is that an examination that determines what class you enter?

Appears to be a UK student as A&E is the UK version of ER
What year are you? Don't be afraid to ask questions and observe as much as possible. If you feel confident step forward and do things you know you can do like vitals blood glucose etc

One friendly piece of advice- change your avatar to something more anonymous, and take your name off of your post (you may need to contact an admin to edit it). There are a lot of reasons to protect your identity on a public forum, especially once you're a nurse!
Most of us are in the US, but you might check out the UK forum under the "World" tab. Good luck!
