Welcome to AN! There are a few reasons an anonymous message board isn't the greatest option for interviewing a nurse. You have no way to verify that anyone has the credentials they claim to have. However, you will find several nurses are quite happy to talk to a student over a cup of coffee (your treat) to help with an assignment. This also makes it easier for them as they don't have to type out lengthy answers to questions. Options you can utilize to find a nurse: your own healthcare provider's office, the local public health nurse, local school nurse, hospitals, nursing homes, and several others.

Thank you for the ideas! I'm finding it hard to get people to talk to a stranger where I live, but I will see if the nurse at my daughter's school might be willing! Thank you!

Part of the point of this assignment is to get you out of your comfort zone. As a nurse you will talk to alot of people who are uncomfortable in the nurse-patient relationship, and you will be uncomfortable with alot of the people you have to interview. Ths is practice for that too.
