Current situation:
I can explain the reasoning behind not giving a fresh ACDF red foods/beverages.
I can list the most important things when treating a sickle cell pt. or a pt. with burns.
I can explain why insulin is a treatment for hyperkalemia.
But...
I can't list off all 12 cranial nerves without screwing it up because of the daggum three O's in the beginning. I learned the nerves and the pneumonic years ago.
I am ready to graduate.

Do you need a pneumonic refresher? When I had to re-learn them for my CPAN certification exam last year, I used the same pneumonic I learned in school.
The one I learned was Oh Oh Oh, to taste and feel very green vegetables, ah heaven. Hahaha. I still remember the pneumonic but can't necessarily name all of the nerves right on the first try.
I used: On Old Olympus' Towering Top, A Finn And German Viewed Some Hops.
I remember the order because if you drawn a horizontal line across your profile, the nose is furthest forward (olfactory), then you get to the eyes (optic nerve), then the muscles around the eye (ocular-motor, trochlear, abducens), the face/cheek (trigeminal, facial), then the ear (vestibulocochlear).
You just have to remember that Trigeminal (facial muscles) is actually number V (5) and Abducens (eye) is VI (6).

Olfactory is cranial nerve 1- there is one nose
Optic nerve is cranial nerve 2- there are 2 eyes
that just leaves oculomotor for the last and third o

Why can't I hit the like button more than once?! D:
My old mnemonic was:
On Old Olympus' Towering Top, A Friendly Viking Grew Vines And Hops
And for Function (S = Sensory, M = Motor, B = Both)
