Stopped at 85

Okay... Does anyone know of anyone passing the lpn at only 85 questions? I just took the exam this morning and to my surprise it shut off at 85. I had thought i was doing fine up until that point. I did have one area that I was repeatedly tested on because it was my weakness.....so my second question, to all those who have taken the exam, how many areas of weakness can you have, or does it have to be none at all?

Hi, sorry it took so long to reply, I got a ltr from the board at just about two weeks. So I imagine you have heard by now.

What I meant about weaknesses is when you get something wrong, how they repeatedly ask the same sort of questions. It happened with me and infection control which is why i thought i failed. But.. .I WAS WRONG......I PASSED.....my voice is so sore after screaming after i found out. Now its time to find a job. NYC here i come....hehehe

PS Thanks Cashew for the link

CONGRATS! now off to money land :chuckle just kidding-all of my checks go to bills anyways!..are you planning on working in LTC or hospital?

Well, I got a job at a subacute facility. I start orientation first week of August and im SO nervous. The staff of nurses seemed nice when i did a walk through during my interview but you never know until your there. I feel like there all going to look at me and ask "what exactly DID you learn in school?". I feel like I dont know anything.::sigh::

I took my boards in Febuary of this yr. I remember being nervous, and what added to it that I went in at 9:00a and finished at 9:42a the computer shut off at 85 questions, I so nauseated going to my car, I thought I had failed for sure, I finished the exam in less than an hour and that it shut off at 85, I even called everyone in my family and told them I failed, two days later I call a number and found out I passed, I am sure you did just fine.
