Stopped at 85

Not so sure of how i did. But Im sure Im glad I found this website. My test stopped at 85 and it was horrifying that it ended so soon and Im totally clueless of how it went. I got A LOT of SATA questions including diseases I havent heard of. I had 15 of them!! OMG! 1 math and mostly prioritizing. Im real bad answering SATA and I feel like Im going to fail. I didnt even pay attention to the survey after it shut off and I just remembered clicking "i agree" to all of them coz I wanted to breathe some fresh air. LOL!!!

Thank you for your encouragement

I PASSED !!! Stopped at 85 ...cant believe it...

Pearson vue trick worked for me...

well i really wasnt paying that much atten to the numbers once it went over 75, i believe i stopped at 88, ended on sata and got 2 sata altogether, no math, just infection control, delegation, priority, disease process, peds, and diet questions, i know going in peds and diet were not my strongest points, also i bombed my first ? because i looked it up when i got home. did pearson vue trick when i got home thanks to this site and got the pop up...so far three people from my class who got the pop up passed...will let u know if it worked for me as well:redbeathe

How many SATA's did you have?

i got two sata (one during the test and my last question was sata), i just paid for quick results and found out i passed so the trick worked for me:nurse:

What is a SATA? I just took mine and failed:(

SATA: select all that apply

Ohhhh! Hello!!! Thanks! I had a few of those and they are the ones I have the most trouble with! I also have a hard time with which patient needs immediate attention!

What I've heard is that once the computer determines that hey this student is safe on the field and yes he/she grasp nursing, its gonna ask you hard questions only to see how far your limit is but its for sure that you will pass. On the other hand, if it keeps going, no worries. You haven't failed yet. Its only trying to determine how far you can go. There's a certain level that every candidate must meet in order to pass. My test stopped at 85 and I had 15 SATA and I thought I failed coz there's a big chance that I will miss something or I will click onto something unrelated to the question. Thank God I passed the first time. My advice to those whose taking the test, no way you can be prepared but atleast asked yourself, have you studied enough that you can tell yourself if you pass, you studied hard, if you fail, atleast you studied hard and you tried.

> about the pearson vue trick, no doubt that it works. A lot of people have done it including the ones that failed. If you get the pop up, you pass. If it lets you pay again, only means you failed. No need to reregister again if you passed. After all, we all took a computerized test. They know the moment it shuts down. The state just wants clarification and verification thats why it takes a month for the results.

Hope this info helps.

Thanks allnurses.com, you guys make the future nurses feel at ease in times when we need someone to talk to but no one understands better than the ones whose having the same experience that we are going through.

>I started orienting on a LTC a week after I had my results. I dont have my license yet but I got an offer so I went and took it. Advice for those who pass and can't get a job, take anything on whatever it is on the table, even if its a lesser pay, get some experience then after you feel comfortable on the field, fly away and ask for a bigger pay. Its really hard to get a job if your a new grad. Atleast get some experience as I said then go from there.

Hope this info helps. :nurse:
