Stopped at 85

Not so sure of how i did. But Im sure Im glad I found this website. My test stopped at 85 and it was horrifying that it ended so soon and Im totally clueless of how it went. I got A LOT of SATA questions including diseases I havent heard of. I had 15 of them!! OMG! 1 math and mostly prioritizing. Im real bad answering SATA and I feel like Im going to fail. I didnt even pay attention to the survey after it shut off and I just remembered clicking "i agree" to all of them coz I wanted to breathe some fresh air. LOL!!!

Pls let me know how your test went.

I got the same thing about contacting the boards when i tried to reregister.

Wishing you and me all the luck we can get. :nuke:

i appreciate you replying to my post. Thanks. Im really hoping the trick works. :yeah:

I'm sorry, I'm just now beginning to prepare seriously for my NCLEX. Earliest I'll be able to take it is end of Sept/first of Oct. My question is: what does SATA mean?

Thanks

SATA means select all that apply. There's gonna be more than 4 choices, then you click on the answers you think applies for what is being asked.

Take your time studying. Dont rush on taking your test. I studied saunders, lippincott and prentice hall books. I also studied of some ncles reviewers they sell online. Sound like a lot but really, i didnt finish all the questions on those cds. I borrowed them from friends who took the test previously and installed it on my computer. The best part of it is your not stuck on just one type of review. I focused on surgical, meds, psyche and o.b but only few showed on the test. I got more questions about "what would you do as a nurse if ...?" and prioritization. Everybodys test is different and I was working full time as a cna while i was in school till i took my boards. It was a hard year and now it came to its final test, whether i'll pass my boards or not. Im really hoping I passed. If not, I'll move on and retake it. Its really stressful but we all have to move on. Some good nurses on the field didnt pass the first time. Who knows.

GOODLUCK to all who took the test... Lets pray for each other. :wink2:

hi dimaano22.. i just took my exam today and felt horrible about it. Some people told me that 2-3 days after the nclex you can go to brn website and check the "permanent license verificatio".. type in your name .. if you pass.. you will see your name.. brn ca update their licensing everyday.. i hope it helps you... good luck

I wish I can but I don't think CA does that. I've tried the trick though. Its my only hope... Good luck to you too. :nuke:

can you share the images or unfamiliar topics you encountered? Im so nervous. Il be having my exam tomorrow :(

Im sorry for the late response. Im wishing you goodluck.

I got chest tube images and chart images and you click on which order wiukd you question the doctor. I also had one drag where you have to arrange the steps on putting sterile equipments on a sterile field. My test was hard according to what i've been reading on the posts that other people had on theirs. Im wishing myself a goodluck too.

I have been waiting to hear good news from you. Those were some hards days, but you made it through. Good luck to you and welcome to the Profession of Nursing.

GREAT NEWS FROM ALL OF YOU. I will start preparing in August for a January date, which I still have not scheduled. I am registered for the Kaplan complete and I also have the FEURS CDs. Do you recommend to do both and add some books or should these be fine? Thank you...

You'll be fine. I heard kaplan is good. Just keep practicing questions everyday. Goodluck to you. Make sure you study infection control, meds, pharm and what nurses should monitor for certain diseases so you're kinda prepared for it. But to top it all, just trust yourself you can do it. You've been in school for a long time. Its not like you dont know it, you just need refreshments and reinforcements so you can remember everything and trust me, you think you dont know it but you do and you will. Best of lucks for you and to all whose taking the boards. We all deserve to pass. :wink2:
