Atlanta, Georgia. A friend of mine get almost 21 dollars. about 3-4 dollars for evening and night shift-differential. Most hospital here pay around $19-21.
Far away from Atlanta like in Rome Georgia, they start only at 17.50.
Huh! Pay is low here. However, you can get apartment around Atlanta suburb around 600 dollars and a private room with bathroom in a house with 400-450 dollars. Gas price is ok here. Just enough to make a living.
Well it definitely sounds as though it evens out. I can't even imagine finding an apartment in Boston for $600! I would say you would be looking at $1100 to start. The suburbs are less, I am about half hour away from the city and a one bed is between $875 and $900. The cost of living is just crazy in Massachusetts, but you find a way to get by!

What kind of degree does she have? BSN, MSN?
Thanks
She has a BSN from NEU.
Well.according to my friend who live in atlanta told me. if it is 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom, it probably costs as much as 800-900 a month, but if you can find a roommate, it will save a lot!!
one bedroom apartment probably 600-700. of couse, in atlanta or buckhead probably higher. But his area is only 20-30 min from downtown area.
renting a room a house is 400-500, that probably I will do to start with.

Hi Bostonnurse98,
Any chance of leting me know where you work at. Just re-located from Michigan and has 7 yrs of experience. thanks.
Hi there.. The top paying hospital in Boston is Brigham and Womens, as it is a unionized hospital. Also look into New England Medical Center, and Mass General. Both pay well too. I work at one of the three. :) Good luck! Boston is a wonderful city to work in as a nurse.
