  1. She has a BSN from NEU.
  2. Well it definitely sounds as though it evens out. I can't even imagine finding an apartment in Boston for $600! I would say you would be looking at $1100 to start. The suburbs are less, I am about half hour away from the city and a one bed is between $875 and $900. The cost of living is just crazy in Massachusetts, but you find a way to get by!
  3. A girl I went to school with just started at a Boston hospital for $25/hr. Hope that helps!
  4. Waiting must have been so hard! Did you find out how you did?! Good Luck! :)
  5. I am currently in nursing school (night and weekend program). I work at a fortune 500 company in a job that has nothing to do with healthcare whatsoever! Yes I would love to be gaining experience in the nursing field, but every job I have applied for (unit secretary etc) would be taking a large paycut. So for now I decided to stay at a job that allows much flexibility for my classes and allows me to take time to study. I am nervous however I will miss all the great perks of being here when I leave to work as a nurse..the gym, the massages, the summer socials! But knowing I will be doing something much more rewarding and actually making a difference in people's lives will hopefully make all the difference.

Originally I was doing the night and weekend program, but I wanted to hurry and apply so I decided to do the days, that way I could get in without taking physiology. I waited for about a year. How long have you been on the waiting list? When did you finish your pre-reqs?

Hi, I am at CCRI in Lincoln. I will be starting clinicals this Fall. Anybody else taking them too? I was just wondering what the schedule is like. I will be taking physiology at the same time as well. I am also wondering where the usual locations are for the clinicals. THANKS!!!
  8. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has gone to or currently attends Laboure College? I just got accepted for Fall 2005 and just wanted to hear anything you have to say about the program! Thanks! :)
