I think it depends on haw you do it. Running a CNA program through a community college would probably be a lot different from starting your own private program.

Hello:
In the State of Georgia, from what I am reading (if this is not correct, someone please feel free to correct), you can start an CNA program, but will need to have at least 1 RN listed as your Program Coordinator.
I am starting a program in GA.
Blessings to you.

Are you or have you started that CNA program? I currently have a CNA program here in Illinois and definitely want to talk to you and maybe be able to help you out. I also offer an LPN program in Illinois.
look forward to talking to you

You may need to give the forum a hint about what state!
Most states have regulatory bodies that will help you with everything you need to know (often question by question though). Google CNA and your state and see what pops up.

These are great ideas. I hope to complete my doctorate in Health Care Administration this year and thinking of doing some things on my own. Some one did suggest to me to try a CNA program but I have no idea. I am interested in any information shared. I am in Texas. Wellness is another area that I really love. I am a wellness freak. Say it and I will do it. Any ideas. Thank you!
