Standardized Testing Week!

So at my school this week, grades 2-8 have standardized testing all week. I was talking about it with my husband (not a nurse or in the medical field) and he says, oh you should have a quiet week then. Ha! In between testing when the students have breaks, I have seen so many and all for ridiculous reasons. My favorite was the 6th grader with a perfectly intact microscopic scab on his elbow. He stated that he pulled a piece of hair out of it? And was worried that it was infected now. I just don't know with some of these kids! Gave me a good chuckle though!

I have a quiet week during that time. I get some kids who come in here or there, but they are fine.

I love testing weeks! Unless they're dying, they don't get out of the classroom.

We have those coming up soon. I don't remember from last year, but I'm pretty sure our teachers don't put up with any frivolous excuses to get out of class.

Today wasn't too bad. But I still get all the preschool, kindergarten and first graders coming in since they don't test of course. I just want to catch up on my paperwork! Hoping by Friday I am all caught up.
