Hello,
I am looking for either an Acute Care or Family NP online program that does not require the GRE and the deadline has not passed yet. I am a little frustrated as I have applied to 3 different programs already with no luck and really am eager to get started. Please let me know and if anyone has any advice I am open to it. BTW, my BSN GPA is 3.39. Thanks!

Why no GRE? You're limiting your opportunities by excluding those schools that require it.
The schools I had planned on going to didn't require it and I am afraid if I rush into doing it just to meet a quick deadline I will get a poor score just because I rushed it. That's the only reason. I thought for sure since I had a decent GPA I would have gotten into at least one of the three picks I had but it just didn't turn out that way.

I am currently a student in the Adult NP track and its great.
You do not need the GRE.

The deadline for USA (University Sould Alabama) has passed already for the Spring, however they are (or at least soon will be) taking applications for the next opening in the fall. They do not require a GRE and have both acute care and family practice tracks (along with psych and some great subspecialties). Just a thought!

I applied to all of these schools, all accepted me except Univ of Alabama, but I chose Ursuline Coll. Good Luck. If you have some sort of certification that will also help.
