Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

I hope everyone held out the storm well! Now we wait for that letter!

Just checking in. I hope no one suffered too much damage from Hurricane Irma. As of today it's 2 weeks down and 4 more to go before letters go out!

Halfway through September! The days are dragging on but I hope soon we all get those acceptance letters. We can all support each other when school starts :)

@Khaner19, where are you taking Statistics? I'm taking it at IAC as an 8 week class. I'm concerned about the class structure going forward as a result of Irma.

I am taking it at Hialeah campus for the full term. I too am concerned with how things will be shifted.

I have a Saturday class for microbiology. We didn't have class for the labor day weekend, then missed last Saturday for the hurricane and school will open on Monday so we will miss that Saturday that's coming up. So that's 3 classes behind and microbiology is not joke! Hopefully the professors will just omit some chapters instead of trying to have everyone cram information. We haven't met the professor or looked at the syllabus so even if I wanted to study I cant.

Anyone else going crazy? I'm worrying if I put the correct phone number, the correct email and student i.d. I know its just me being anxious but I kinda want to call or go to the school and make sure I put everything correct.

Do you guys have any idea when we'll be hearing back from MDC? I'm so nervous already!!

Mid oct is when they usually find out from the other threads that I read on allnurses. The advisor said October as well to start checking. I'm nervous too. I'm pretty sure I'll at least get in the accelerated option but I'm still anxious

Are you applying fr the accelerated program or generic?

I got an 88 on the HESI and 3.6 gpa. Crossing my fingers for the accelerated option!
