Spring 2015 MANE programs

It's about time to start applying to the spring 2015 MANE programs. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is applying. I thought it would be nice to have a place where we could come together and chat about our scores, the application process, and the anguish of waiting for our acceptance letters.

I'm planning on applying to Century and Inver Hills. I would prefer Century, just because it's right down the street from my house.

Anyone else applying for spring?

I was thinking maybe those with the higher scores got in and maybe I would have a better chance this time.

I am hoping for same, I just know that I personally scored better than last cycle. Hope we get in

I sent off my app today. Still pretty confused over some transfer stuff so I hope it will work out. I am looking at ATI's site and not seeing how to make my score available. Since I took the test at Century, does Century already have my score? A little confused on that point.

The schools you apply to will usually ask for a copy of your TEAS score report or they can pull it off the ATI website.

Zikes! I just got into the fall program at century. I wasn't expecting this. I am still in shock. I already had my fall classrs and plans. The hardest part is i will have to quit my job.

Congrats, Josie72!

Any student applying at NCC for Spring 2015? I would really be happy to know such a person!

I just retook the TEAS today and got a 84.7%. My overall score when I applied for Fall 2014 was 11.16 and I didn't get into either IHCC or NHCC. I'm hoping my 11.47 this time around will get me in.

Good luck to everyone!

Great job!! That is an amazing score.

I took the TEAS on Saturday, and turned in my application to Inver Hills.

I didn't study at all for the TEAS, and ended up with a 83.3 composite. That plus a 3.8GPA means that I am sitting at 12.13 overall. Hopefully that is enough to get me into the program. I should win any tiebreaks with only missing one question on the entire science portion.

Now the long wait until July 15th...

i wouldnt worry. You'll definitely get in with that score.

I'm hoping. I'm not sure if the Fall 2014 group overachieved, or if they underachieved due to how new the program was/is. No one knew how competitive it was going to be. Either way, I'm cautiously optimistic. My gut tells me I have better than an 80 percent chance of making it, but I don't want to convince myself I'll get in then be devastated if I don't make it.

Good luck to everyone else who applied as well!
