This is a copy of what the MN dept. of health sent me........ First of all, the testing sites are vocational technical colleges. You do not need to train before testing. Minnesota has a “test out” option that allows anyone to test without a training program. You would tell the school you want to test at that you are a challenger (no training program within the past 24 months). You have three tries to pass each test (written nursing assistant test and the skills test).

Thanks all. i mostly posted, because I was one who held my breath as I went to the mail box each day, and now I have a choice of 2 schools. I seriously never thought I would get in.

Yes. Century called me the last week of May with a slot, but I was on their alt. list.

I got a call from ARCC saying I got into nursing fall 2014. I wasn't even on their alternate list! The lady said they already finished the alternate list and now where moving done to others who applied. Century is really my first choice, ARCC is very close to home. I need to decide by tomorrow. I am a century student so I will need to transfer everything over. josie

Zikes! I just got into the fall program at century. I wasn't expecting this. I am still in shock. I already had my fall classrs and plans. The hardest part is i will have to quit my job.

I was thinking maybe those with the higher scores got in and maybe I would have a better chance this time.

My score total is 11.19. Guess I will wait and see.

No. They won't tell me. Just that there are 30 on the list.

I am! I am applying to Century and Anoka Ramsey. Century is my first choice. Right now I am on the alternative list for Century fall 2014.

So I will reapply in June, but still with the same score because I already to the TEAS twice. So how are we suppose to increase our chances?

Got my letters! I had a TEAS score of 74.7 and a GPA of 3.75. I was denied for both Century and ARCC. Feel bad but at least the waiting is over. Century did sent me a second letter to be sent back to be on the alternate list, but no number as to where I stand.

I heard NHCC is expanding their program. The built a huge new addition. I couldn't apply there because they required an art credit.
