SPC Fall 2019

Hey, everyone! I've been looking for a thread about fall applications for SPC Nursing program, but nothing yet! It may be early, since the application period just started on March 1st, but here we go! I applied as soon as it opened , and I'm crossing my fingers until the July 1st. Anyone else applied or planning to do it soon? Let me know your thoughts and plans, we are all together in this one ? .

    I haven’t gotten mine back yet, but I’m not a Florida native so I think it may take longer. I had mine done on the 3rd. The CB background check just came back today and that starts the day you order it, which was the 1st for me

    I uploaded the background check and drug test to Castle Branch. Not the fingerprints...sorry. I just got that done on the 3rd.

    Where are you guys getting the 2-step TB test, varicella vaccine, and flu shot? Any free flu shot clinics?

    Should we start getting worried? the due date is getting closer and do not want to do this last minute. I got my fingerprints done on the 2nd. I called the place and they said that these were sent to castlebranch but I have not received anything. Waiting time to speak to a representative for Castlebranch takes about 30mins.

    I got the vaccines done at the health department and flu shot I have not received it yet. Will have to find a pharmacy because Health Dept is out of flu vaccines. They said since flu season is over, they no longer have more flu vaccines until the next season starts.

    Were the vaccinations expensive? I know the health dept is the cheapest route.

    Correct. I think the last part (eligible for placement) is the school administrator’s responsibility.
