Spanish translation

Does anyone know where I can find an English-Spanish translation for phrases about labor and delivery?

Thanks!

Thank you so much for posting that!

That will be very helpful where I work, considering at least half of our pts. are Spanish speaking!

That is a pretty neat site - the only thing I didn't like was the phrase "We need to have the baby here now." The way it's written in Spanish is saying "You need to have the baby here, and right now." That's the literal translation and it comes across sounding a bit....how shall I say it....paternalistic? Kind of dictating to the poor lady when she should have her baby, IMO. May be a little nitpicky but that's what it sounded like to me.

Otherwise, it looks pretty cool. Lots of useful phrases.

a million thanks for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

working in a border town with many spanish speaking patients our facility has provided translation phones has anyone used them before?

should spanish speaking nurses get paid additional for translationing?

WE have loads of Spanish ladies, many who speak no english. We do have translation lines, but sometimes that is not practical when she's unmedicated, pushing, etc.

I can manage, usually, i had several years of spanish in high school, 9 years ago, and do okay. Certainly could use some help, though. I just realized the other day that i didnt know how to say "what is your due date?" and "born"
