SNF CPT codes

Hi, I am a new grad NP and have just accepted a position in a SNF. Does anyone have a good chart/guide to what is needed for the different CPT codes? I wish we had learned this in school..

As a nurse life care planner I use CPT codes all the time. Suggest you get a hard or electronic copies of PMIC’s CPT PLUS and Med Fees in the US, which will explain coding and costing to you in a useful way.
However, I’m not sure why you think you need this. Generally the only people on the provider side who use CPT (and while we’re at it, the also-required HCPCS codes, a CMS ref for which is available free online, and ICD-10 codes) are the billing office, who will determine which ones to use by reading your documentation. Could you clarify your need?

Ask billing, admin, or practice manager. Most notes in EHR include coding information as well and you can look at what previous providers used.

You would appreciate joining AMDA, it's post-acute care organization and so much great info for new NP.
