We are looking at *possibly* getting a new EHR/documentation system for our district. I've read other posts and seen that those of you who are using SNAP have positive things to say about it. Is anyone using Welligent? What are your thoughts on either program? This would come out of Health Services money, not the district, so we want to make sure we do all of our research before moving forward.
Thanks for your help!

Are you using anything currently? I have used Healthmaster for ages. They were taken over and re-vamped by frontline and honestly, thay were not positive changes. Maybe it's just an old dog/ new tricks thing, but I find it clunky. Since you're being budget cautions, have you looked into CareDox? It's a free ehr platform. I don't know too much about how good or bad it is, as I've never used it.

I loved SNAP. But my school moved to SchoolBrains a few year ago and they had a EMR built in, so I use that. (It is a MA company, not sure if other states use it?)
I did not like it at first because the EMR was kinda an afterthought for them, but they improved it big time now I dig it. It is also super helpful that is integrated with all the rest of my school so I can also pull up student schedules in the same program. Health section is only seen by the nursing team, but we can add relevant health info to student's digital record that can be seen on a need to know by relevant staff. (I think SNAP can do this with Powerschool, but not sure - it's been a few years since I've used that combo together.)

I have only ever used SNAP and I love it!
But whatever you get make sure it interacts with whatever system your district uses so that things like absences, parents info...etc.. crosses over and populates into it.

We are actually using Frontline for our SIS, and using the included health module in it - it stinks. We demo'd the Frontline EHR and are shopping for something else.?

unless there are some big changes, I'm going to email my BA and tell her to cancel it. We use Realtime for our SIS which also has an EHR module. It's gotten better since we started with it.
