SJSU BSN program Spring 2022

Yes, I did know that. I was just concerned because I also have units from SJSU from a previous major (only a semester worth). I'm hopeful everything goes through properly. EEK.

Hey guys! On SJSU nursing website there are 2 different dates for when Spring 2022 application opens. I thought it was open August first but I can't find the program on NursingCAS. I'm assuming it will be open the 16th of August but I want to double check with you guys and make sure I am not missing anything! Thank you! 

The SJSU part of the application is open today through cal state apply. Nursing CAS opens the 16th I think ?

Hi guys! 

I have two questions. I’m a current sjsu student btw. 

1. Do we have to fill out the sjsu application if we are a current sjsu student? (the one for csu, and the one that opened on August 1st)

2. All those students who transferred like me beforehand, and did their prerequisites at a different college (meaning we have been at sjsu now for a few semesters), when we send transcripts along with our CAS application (the nursing school one), do we send our transcripts from the other college, or do we send our sjsu transcript as that transcript has our classes on it?

If you're already a SJSU student, you don't need to apply again. That's just for fall applicants to the nursing program.

You have to send in your official transcripts from all schools you've been to.

I saw in the updated slides that to be competitive your TEAS has to be above 92%, and you have to have mostly A's. Do you guys think it will actually be that competitive for the Spring semester? In previous threads, there were people getting in with high 80s TEAS and mostly A's in the Spring ?

I saw that, too. I am not sure...I think it just keeps getting more and more competitive unfortunately. One of my friend's cried because she got a B in micro because she thinks it will affect her getting in...Ugh! So much stress for everyone!

I told myself I would re-take the TEAS if I got less than 94 because of that...

Sweet baby Jesus. I have a 3.9 in pre-reqs and 92.7%. Really hoping I get in. I think Spring is less competitive?
