SJSU BSN program Spring 2022

Hey guys! I am creating this forum for students applying to the Spring 2022 BSN program at SJSU. I wanted a place where we can ask each other questions!

Does anyone know how many students usually apply for Spring? I hope it's much less than the Fall!

Only current SJSU students and post baccalaureate can apply for Spring so there should be a lot less applicants compared to fall.

Are any of your applying anywhere else?

I'm not. I feel like each program has different class requirements.

Hey guys, I'm planning on applying Spring 2022, and I'm coming from EVC! Just waiting to take my TEAS in a few days. Wishing everyone the best of luck!

Hi Nikki, are you already at SJSU?

I'm at SJSU already, but I'm only taking 2 classes right now and waiting to apply. Are you at SJSU too for the fall?

Ah okay, yes, I have been at SJSU since this Spring. My fingers are crossed that we all get in. I'm afraid they will turn me down as I have too many credits.

I think you should be fine as long as you don't have the credits needed for a Bachelor's degree. I just took my TEAS today, and I got a 91.3%, and my GPA is 4.0, so hopefully we end up in the same cohort.

Has anyone had their course substitution forms approved? I have been waiting a few weeks and getting nervous!

Thanks Nikki! I think they must have just added that to the slides. A lot of my credits do come from community colleges! So that is very relieving.

If you have more than 70 units from cc, they only take 70 units. I have like 90 units but they only transfer 70.
