Should I be worried??? Please help

hi everyone,

I took my nclex in north carolina this past wed. ( two days ago) and got only 75 questions. I have checked the website for the board of nursing and have called their number and still no license number. We don't have quick results in this state, however we can still check the board of nursing website. Should I be worried???? please help.:o

hi, moninurse! :)

i was exactly where you were this time last week. i took the nclex last tuesday, and where i live they don't participate in the 48 hr results. i also checked the website 4 - 5 times per day and called the phone # for the licensing board at least 3 times per day. i got my answer first from the telephone #, which was 8 days after the test. the website didn't update until the next day. does your state have a 800 (or something like that) number that you can call? if so, try that & see what you get. my recording kept saying, "that social security number is not in our database", but when it finally went through, i really didn't believe it!

i had 75 questions also. when the computer shut off, i begged for more questions. i am sure you did well. best wishes!

I also had 75, and I thought I had failed because the questions didn't SEEM like the really, really hard ones. I didn't get any delegation, for example. It just freaked me out. I can relate! Congrats and best of luck!

Oh, I'm currently in a neonatal intermediate care unit, but will be in L&D in the next 2 months.
