I am just wondering what type of shoes all of you where, my shoes that I had for my first semester clinicals were very uncomfortable and I NEED to find new ones over the summer. I am a guy so any suggestion for male shoes would be appreciated!

Are you allowed to wear any all-white shoe you want? I have a pair of white Sketchers I could run miles in. Most of the big sneaker companies have an all-white something. A guy I know in clinicals, wears white Nikes. Check Zappos.com, they have free shipping and you can send it back for free if you hate 'em.
yes I can wear anywhite shoes I want. right now I have nikes, and I hate them. I will look into zappos! thanks for the info

I am a woman but these are the shoes that I used. They are uni-sex, cheap, comfortable and easy to clean. They are made of a very light weight form/rubber material.

I have been using New Balance 928s. I can and have been on my feet for 12 hrs straight in them comfortably. They are very durable showing no signs of needing a new pair after 3 years of continuous use. However, they are not super cheap or glamorous, having a wider toebox.

I tried THREE different pairs before I finally broke down and invested in Danskos. I love them. Because I don't plan to wear all white shoes in the future (hospitals here don't have that requirement), I'm going to have a tattoo artist friend of mine draw on them for me. :)
I will look into the local new balance store that I have here. I heard danskos were very expensive, do you think they would look alright on a guy?
They are expensive, but guys do wear them. My husband has black ones that he's worn for years. He loves them! I saw guys in them all the time at the hospital.

I used to make fun of a guy for wearing Danskos because it looked like he was dressing up.
