Hey everyone,

I am a new RN who will be starting my first job in a few weeks & I want to treat myself to some new nursing shoes. The only problem is that I can't find anyone in my area who sells the brand/style I want, so I will be ordering them online and I can't try them on first. So I thought I would ask everyone on here if you have worn these shoes and what you thought of them (comfortable? painful? long-lasting? a waste of money?). The shoes I want are Danskos, and the style is "Marcelle." I think they are so cute, but I want to get some opinions before I just buy them! Thanks everyone! :)

Here's a URL to a picture of them so you know what I'm talking about - I tried inserting the picture but it didn't work for some reason:

I don't have those exact shoes but I agree they're nice looking!

Most people love Danskos and I'm one of them. Some of my clogs are 4 years old and look and feel brand new. My feet never hurt after work.

I did once buy one of their higher-heeled styles and those hurt. I'm a baby.

I think they look more professional than tennis shoes at work too...although I show up in Ryka's sometimes.

Enjoy your shoes!

I have Danskos too. "Pita" http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/7831012/c/11366.html

Some ppl love their Dankos, others don't. I think they're 'OK'.....they're a very rigid shoe and I have to order a size up r/t European sizing. Sometimes at the end of the day I can't wait to get home and take them off! Lately I've been wearing New Balance sneakers to work.

i just bought some Crocs yesterday and i LOVE them. I got the kind with no holes in the top but holes on the side so your feet get air. They are spongy and weigh only ounces, very easy to clean. AND they are only 35 bucks.

Nice to know......this might just be my next purchase. I see many nurses at my hospital wearing them with great color choices too. Are they true to size? Comfortable/supportive as well? Thx
