Sharp New Grad Program Fall 2012/Winter 2013

Got a last minute call from MBirch. Interview tomorrow!!! I'm so excited. So much to do in it a few short hours. Any advice or tips? Totally appreciate it. My dream job...I want to do my best :-)

Does anyone know how many positions they want to fill for the Grossmont labor and delivery program? It seems like a lot of us received phone interviews for that unit...

Were these phone calls "phone interviews" or were they more phone calls about clarifying whether the regional perinatal course was completed?

She did clarify that the RPS class was completed, but also asked several interview questions!

I'm curious if any non L&D applicants have heard back from Sharp yet?

I saw on a facebook forum that a couple of people heard back from Sharp via email saying thank you for your interest and information will be forwarded and one other person said they received an interview email. This is my first time applying to a new grad program. Do they always send something whether a rejection or not?

Not everyone sends something.I can't speak about Sharp since I haven't applied there before this time.

This will be the 5th application to Sharp for me. Sometimes I get a phone call for an interview, sometimes I get an email from the nurse manager of the unit saying "Thanks but no thanks". It varies with the unit, the hospital, and whoever is handling your file. Since there are so many applications, it's not uncommon to get nothing.
