  1. Oh my! I feel for you! I would recommend leaving and reporting- be an advocate for those patients! Even though it seems like Hell right now, I am sure it has been a valuable learning experience in the short time you've been there. New grad jobs are hard to come by (I am a new grad right now), but I do believe if you put in the effort to get all the certifications you need and VOLUNTEER, you will get the job you desire. I've been a volunteer (as a licensed, unemployed) RN for over 6 months now and that was the key for me to obtaining my ideal starting position! Good luck!
  2. I got an offer, but rejected because I got one from somewhere else sooner! So someone else can take my spot!!
  3. Oh and the start date is January 28!
  4. It went pretty good! I had 6 people on my panel. They asked all kinds of questions behavioral mostly.
  5. No, I already had my license.
  6. I just got an offer from NICU at SMB :) Woo Hoo!!!! Took 7 months of unemployment since graduation! It will happen! Don't give up! My best advice is to volunteer where you want to work!!!!
  7. I had a preceptorship in NICU and at a Women's Center which included L&D, Triage, and antepartum. I did a leadership rotation on a postpartum unit. In addition, I have all my certs, took the MNNC, and a member of AWHONN, and sigma theta tau. I conducted a research study my senior year about the birth process. It's rough to wait for the right position, but I'm sure it will all work out how it's supposed to!!
  8. Hi! I applied and my interview was last Monday (1 week ago) and just got an email today for my references. Hope to hear soon!
  9. MAYBE today y'all!!!!My friend interviewed for L&D at MB. Hasn't heard back yet. I would say you have a good shot. I beleive they interviewed 17 for 6 positions!
  10. No love from scripps! Applied twice and no interview both times. I'm okay with it though- I'm a Sharp Girl at heart!
  11. Were these phone calls "phone interviews" or were they more phone calls about clarifying whether the regional perinatal course was completed?
