Second interview attire

Published

Hey all. I'm very excited, things are starting to happen with a couple jobs and I have two second interviews early next week. Both are happening on the same day at nearby hospitals. My question is, since I wanted to strike while the iron is hot, I agreed to go to both a week after the first interview and I only have ONE business suit. This doesn't leave me enough time to buy another and have it hemmed, like I had to do with the first. Can I just wear the same black suit again with a different color camisol? Do I need to wear a suit for the second interview anyways or can I wear dress pants and a dressy top? I will be meeting the rest of the team including department heads, physicians and nurses so I want to look the part. But I guess one could have more than one black dress suit and they probably won't even remember what I was wearing the first time, right?

Thanks!! Wish me luck! I'm so ready for this..

Wear the suit again and don't sweat it; any place that judges you for only having one suit isn't worth working with.

Agreed! Just change your top out if it makes you feel better. But in truth, they should be looking at your skills and whether you fulfill their requirements as a provider, not how well you rock a fashion statement. Hopefully that's the case anyway. Good luck with the interview.

I agree with the other posters. Don't worry about your outfit. I wore the same interview outfit with different shirts to the 1st, 2nd and third interview for the position I have now.

Good luck :)

I doubt anyone is going to pay attention to the fact that you are wearing the same suit. It is professional, and THAT is what will stand out. What they would remember is something frilly or inappropriate.
