Second entry nursing 2014

Hi There,

I have applied for second entry nursing at uOttawa, UofT, Western, Queens, Mac, York, Humber and Trent. I received an offer of admission from Trent today. I was just wondering if anyone had heard from any other school yet? I will be graduating in May from uOttawa with a BHsc minor in gerontology.

hi ashro, I applied to Trent, Ottawa and Toronto and still have not heard back from any school. I know they all look at your last year, but I believe Ottawa is your overall cgPA right?

I got into Humber a few weeks ago. I also applied to Trent and I'm anxiously waiting for a response. What was your GPA like, if you don't mind me asking?

yes uOttawa looks at all years of undergrad, and the requirement is minimum 6.0 (on a 10 scale)

my overall gpa is around 3.3 but the last two years it's closer to a 3.7

Hey ashro, I just checked my uottawa application and I have been put on the waiting list, so they must be well into making their admission decisions

Hey ShayLynn, did you just email someone? or how did you check the status of your application?

I logged onto uzone using my student ID and password. Then went to info web and checked the application status. I'm a UO student already so I'm not sure if it's exactly the same process if you're an outside applicant

Yep, I'm not a current Ottawa student but this is how I was able to check my status as well. But after checking, I did receive an email later in the day as well.

If anyone hears about U of T sending acceptances please let me know! Very anxiously awaiting. Ive heard from Trent and Queen's so far. If I dont go to U of T will go to Queen's.

I haven't received any email yet or package but I just checked Ontariocolleges.ca and I got an offer from Humber :).

I am surprised I heard from them this early since my gpa isn't that high.. (3.3ish in last 10 credits).

Hi Venture12 when did you hear from Queens? Also if you don't mind me asking what was your gpa like? and have you already completed your degree?

Hi bigman92!

Congratulations on your acceptance!!!! How long did it take once you applied online to get a response?
