I live in Albany NY. I cannot figure out if Maria college offers summer courses to do accelerated. I want a school with summer nursing courses so I don't need to do the full two years. Anyone know of any schools? Even away from Albany

There are hundreds of schools. Use google and just search "accelerated BSN". If you cannot figure out specific classes at a school contact the school.

I would start by compiling a list of accredited nursing programs. Then do your research about accelerated programs with summer courses from that list.
Search ACEN Accredited Nursing Programs

you cannot figure out if they offer summer nursing courses for an accelerated program? I just typed words into Google and found out they don't. They have an accelerated option for people who are already nurses to earn a higher degree, but not for someone who is not yet a nurse to become a nurse faster than four semesters which takes two years.
figure out how far you want to move from Albany and then search for schools. good luck.

Be careful with this! You will be contacted via emails and telephone calls by every sweet talking snake-oil salesman trying to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge, No Muss, No Fuss University. Put yourself in the driver's seat and you control who you speak with in your own good time.
You see once you Google Search this topic they are automatically hooked-up with companies who alert the worst perveyors of fly-by-night hucksters in scam education. Just like the University of Phoenix and South University. These people are looking for "numbers,"have no standards and are the antithesis of excellence. The word "accelerated" will especially make you a target because then they will say you can become an RN or BSN or whatever overnight. This is impossible and a come-on scam to make a b-line to your loan money.
Go to (collegescotecard.edu.gov) to begin your search. But again, you need to be in unbiased control. These sales people can be and are in most cases hyenias. And in reality over-paid cold call, boiler room, tell you anything flim-flam artists; who year after year destroy the earnest dreams and aspirations of lots of people. Then they laugh and say "too bad you should have done your homework;" but by then it's way too late; your in life-altering debt with no degree. And guess what? No one really cares. That's the worst part.
Good Luck.

^This is a good start and strategy.
You should know that Accreditation only ensures that the school meets MINIMUM operational standards. /www.insidehighered.com/news/2016/06/24/federal-panel-votes-terminate-acics-and-tightens-screws-other-accreditors
*This accreditor was big-time. It's being shut down for not doing their job. Checking accreditation is a start, I guess, but far from any seal of approval. Just be careful when you evaluate any school and don't get victimized. The accreditation thing is a come-on a lot of questionable schools use to ensnare.
