when working with certain ethnic groups its common to be faced with a dilemma where an elderly resident in the Nursing home is newly diagnosed with advanced cancer. The family wishes not to disclose the information to the resident. The resident is a bright, alert woman who has full understanding of the treatment. You are the Enrolled Nurse looking after her today. When you entered her room she asks you questions about her health declining, she stated that she feels she is dying.
1. Based on the above scenario how would you respond to the scenario ?(50-100 words)
2. Critically analyse how you would handle the question form the resident ?
3. Based on your knowledge whom would you seek guidance from this situation?

Please begin the discussion by sharing your thoughts about the questions, and then others will chirp in with guidance. It is an expectation that if you request help with your homework that you first show your work/effort.
We will help you, but not give you the answers.

Hey, at least the OP gave an honest answer, lol.
Like PP's have said, let us know your thoughts first and we can then help guide you from there.

I would start this paper by deciding which of the major ethical principles of nursing applies here. There are at least two of them. Are they in conflict? Which one is more important?
