Aug 18, 20196 yr Hello everyone!I was looking for a thread and didn't find one so thought I'd create one! I was wondering if anyone else applied for Santa Barbara City College's program and if so, with how many points? Just curious as we wait for decisions ?
Sep 6, 20196 yr Hi, I was accepted and I’m looking to connect with others that will be starting the SBCC RN program this January. I live in north slo county and am hoping to be able to carpool with a class mate ? ?
Sep 6, 20196 yr I live in LA and haven’t decided if I’ll accept, but if I do.. anyone looking for a roommate? ?♂️
Sep 7, 20196 yr Author I currently live in Orange County, so I’d definitely have to move if I end up going. I just haven’t quite yet decided since it might still be some time before I hear back from the other schools :/
May 13, 20206 yr I didn't get it. I had calculated to have about 80 points. I wanted to try again but I just found out you can only take the TEAS once. I'm pretty much tapped out. I speak Spanish, work in health care, first generation to go to college. The only place I had room to improve was on the TEAS. I guess there I'll have to try my luck on the 20% lottery next cycle.

Apr 2, 20215 yr Hi, I’m just finishing up my third semester. I haven’t tried any other nursing schools so I can’t really compare but I think SBCC is a great school. They have high NCLEX pass rates. Clinicals are at Cottage hospital which is hard to beat! Even with covid, we have had great opportunities and I’ve learned a ton. Hope this helps :)
