Hi guys, I am wondering if there are any Canadian nurses that have experience with rural nursing. I would like to find out what options are out there- if any organizations offer compensation for travel, living expenses, etc. I am willing to relocate from Ontario. Anyone who has information on northern/rural nursing please let me know! I have Googled with limited success. Thanks in advance:)

You might check the Rural Nursing forum in the specialties section. Good luck!

I'm not even a nurse, but if you google...government of Nunavut jobs and go to their career site there are plenty of nursing jobs. I believe the site also offeres info on how to become licensed in nunavut

Health PEI (Prince Edward Island) is actively recruiting in rural areas. I started working here last year and just love the support of the management team, helpful staff and grateful patients. I feel that I am really making a difference here (moved from Toronto).
