Hello, I have passed my NCLEX RN exam on December 22nd.. In present I'm still waiting for my license..but i have one question

I am currently living in new jersey and i took exam for Illinois state board of nursing, so if i want to apply for a job now, will they allow me to work before arriving my license and before transferring it into NJ board?

thankyou

I would check with NJ board of nursing.

Ok, I did some research for you, Illinois is a compact state with NJ,

As of 2016.

You can work in no, for 30 days, if your declared residence is NJ, you will have to endorse to NJ BON.

Nope. Neither are compact states. You will need to endorse your Illinois license into NJ. Best to start sooner rather than later because in many places employers won't consider you without a license in the current state in which you are applying. Congrats on passing the NCLEX!

And NJ can take a while to obtain a license. Start now.

Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for the responses. Does anyone know the best way to contact BON NJ? If so, can you tell me the phone number?

once again thankyou

How many AN accounts do you have, OP? Yuti & Mp12. Any more?

Hey, I just registered yesterday for my first account and today I tried to sign in but they said your I'd is invalid so I made another one..
