Hello My name is Leonie and this is the first time here in this site,, Im finding it a bit hard to understand but will try. I work in an ED Brisbane, Queensland. Australia.
I was just wondering how much air you put into ETT tubes, say a size 7. The label on the cover here says 30ml
however, my ED Consultant says is should be about 25ml, what do you all think??

Just enough air to prevent a leak. usually around 7-10 ml's..
the only tubes we use that would require greater are the combi tube... a back up device and a bridge to a definitive airway...
