RN student

HI everyone!

New to the site, I'm a student looking forward to finishing my associates degree in Dec. 2006! Yay:) !!! I'm actually in the market for a new stethoscope, I was thinking of getting a Littman classic II SE, Littman Cardiology III, or an Ultrascope {they're really cute looking, but do they work well?} If anyone has any suggestions on which one to get I'd appreciate it a bunch. Thx!

I love my Littman Classic!

The best three stethoscopes are Littman, Littman or Littman... in that order.

I've had a littman for years. I really can't hear breath sounds very well with anything else. However, the advice I always give is to "try before you buy" I've met nurses who swear by ultrascope, and still others who like the sprague (??!?)

I have a Littman Cardiology II SE. Absolutely LOVE it. You can hear so well and Litmann is famous for their extra cushy ear pieces. Plus you get extra diaphragms with the scope.
