i need urgent help and suggestions. i have a bachelor degree in a course i do not like and from back home not here in canada.
and currently i am in the RN program in Ryerson University, i failed a course in second year so now i have to take it all over again. i passed my first year. but i am thinking of just changing school (to a college) and finish up in the rpn program and forget about the rn program. Can someone advise me on the procedure i have to follow to get my rpn diploma in just a year since i have finished 1st year. besides i have a small baby and i am in so much debt so i really need to start working to pay off my bills.
how do i change my program and what are my chances of getting a good job as an rpn. urgent replies please, a

You may need to contact the local schools but may find you have to start over

I am an RPN and I went to school with a girl that completed an RN program but failed the CRNE 3 times. She basically had to do the program over but she was exempt from a few of the general classes.
My concern is if i can start second year in the rpn program since my first year was in rn program . am not just interested in the rn program anymore.

I dont think you can just switch over. You may have to start over.

You would be exempt from some of the electives. But the programs are not the same. You would probably have to start from first year, and you might end up finishing up a semester early, but that's about it. Contact the school.
Also, you may want to reflect on why you think you failed, before embarking on a similar program. There seems to be a misconception sometimes that the RPN program is easier, when in fact, that is not the case. Both programs contain similar content.
hi , its not about the fact that i failed a course before due to my pregnant state and relationship issues, but my reason is that i want to finish school early and start making money
Fair enough. However, it takes time to finish either program. In the end, all the work will be worth it. There is really no easy solution.
